Lack of Sleep?......Never!

With our busy schedules of every day life, sleep sometimes feels overrated. Then you add kids to the mix. It's been said (Dr. Phil) that having children is like having two full time jobs. I have to agree with that. It is crucial that we get our sleep so we can perform to the best of our abilities. Especially for this growing generation.

We have been told time and time again that it's very important to get 6-8 hours of sleep a night. What are some ways that you have made that a priority?

  1. Be on the same schedule everyday. After a while your body will just automatically be tired at that time. That's what we do, as well as our kids. Works great. Also, to try to dim the lights and have a routine before bed. Like...wash face, brush teeth, read, relax, etc.

  2. Also, if you are stressed because of something you have to get done the next day, write it down on a paper you will see in the morning and forget about it.
